Employment Opportunities
Labourers: We are looking for two people on Tuesday, September 12th, to move two offices at the South Vancouver building, located at 5887 Prince Edward St. Hours are flexible, pay is $16.75/hour. Please email brett@christcitychurch.ca.
Lead Pastor (Church Planting): A one-year church planting apprenticeship followed by a full-time, permanent role as Lead Pastor, planting and leading a new church in the Christ City Network. The role of the apprenticeship season allows for the evaluation and confirmation of gifting and fit, time for the applicant to evidence the necessary character qualifications required to pastor a church, and the time required to grow in specific church planting competencies. The Pastor will receive personal guidance and mentorship from the Lead Pastor of Christ City South Vancouver, as well as formal training through City to City Canada’s Incubator Program. Should there be mutual agreement between the Elders of Christ City and the Pastor, the Pastor will be resourced and sent to start a new church in Metro Vancouver. Interested applicants can email a resume and cover letter to Brett Landry at brett@christcitychurch.ca
Childcare Workers: Come be part of our childcare worker team. We offer various events at Christ City throughout the year where we provide childcare, including regular events that require longer-term commitments and one-off events. Duties would include caring for children under 5, interacting with them, reading stories, playing with them, checking them in, managing snack time, and keeping kids safe when they are in your care. Applicants will be required to complete a criminal record check. All applications can be sent to info@christcitychurch.ca
