As we transition to our new Sunday morning home at St. David’s, we’ve put together some answers to frequently asked questions to help you navigate our new home well.

  • What’s the new address?

St. David of Wales is located at 2475 Franklin Street (cross streets are Franklin and Kamloops)

  • What time is our gathering at?

Our gathering start time will remain 10:00 A.M.

  • Where can I park?

There is ample free parking available in the parking lot diagonal from the church building. There are also 10 designated parking spots available behind St. David’s reserved for young families and people with mobility issues.

  • Is the building accessible?

Our building is equipped with a stairlift to assist those who may have difficulty with the stairs. You can find the lift located at the bottom of the staircase, accessible through the lower door. If you need any assistance operating the lift or finding the best entrance for your needs, our greeters are always happy to help.

  • Which door should I use?

For parents needing to check their kids in prior to the gathering, we invite you to use the ground level door at the front. The kids check-in desk will be there, and once you’ve checked them in you can proceed up the stairs to the left of the entrance.

For everyone else you can enter through the main door at the top of the stairs at the front.

  • Where should I sit once I’m inside?

Moving to pew seating means that we would encourage you to move to the end of the pew to allow for people to easily join from the aisle. There will also be some chairs at the front available. Like with Famee, we’ve reserved the back rows for young families who may need to be mobile during the gathering.

  • Is there stroller parking?

There is some room at the back of the main gathering space to stash your stroller.

  • Where are the bathrooms?

There are three single-occupancy bathrooms available in the church. One is located near the lower entrance and is reserved for women and families. A second bathroom for men can be found tucked underneath the stairs near the back kitchen. Finally, for the safety and convenience of our children, there is a kids-onlybathroom located directly within the kids’ space.

  • Is there a nursing mother’s room?

Yes! Through the door to the left of the stage there is a room called a ‘sacristy’ with couches and space for moms to nurse their children. Soon we hope to have a video stream of the gathering in there as well.

  • Will there be coffee and tea?

Coffee and tea will be available before the gathering at the back of the main gathering room.

  • Where do I drop my kids off when it’s time for them to be dismissed?

Once kids are dismissed, parents and guardians can head downstairs to their respective age-group classrooms.
