As we look forward to Easter Weekend, here is a quick summary of where you need to be and when:
Good Friday Service
What: All three neighbourhood churches are joining together to celebrate Jesus’ finished work on the cross.
Where: John Oliver Secondary School
When: April 7th, 10:00 A.M.
Parking: There is a parking lot on the west side of John Oliver Secondary School that we have paid to use. Our lovely parking attendants will remind you on the day, but fore warning – you do not need to pay to use the parking lot despite what the signs say!
If the parking lot is full, there is also free parking in the surrounding neighbourhood.
Kids: Christ City Kids is hosting a kid’s program for Good Friday at the South Vancouver building (5887 Prince Edward Street). Please register your kid(s) for this event. Drop off will take place starting at 9:30 am. Pick up your kids(s) promptly after the service concludes!
Easter Sunday Gatherings
What: We will be having a special Easter Sunday gathering, hearing from our NEW CHOIR (!), listening to baptism testimonies, and celebrating the resurrection of Jesus.
Where: South Vancouver Building
When: April 9th, 8:45, 10:15 & 11:45 A.M.
note: We are hopeful and expectant that it is going to be nice and busy – As such, if you are able to attend the 3rd gathering (11:45 A.M.), it will help us make room for the guests we are expecting.
Baptisms
What: People from each of our neighbourhood churches are being baptised this Easter so we are inviting everyone to come and celebrate with them as they enter the waters of baptism. Remember to bring appropriate beach footwear!
When: April 9th, 2:00 P.M.
