We are heading out to Chilliwack Lake for a weekend of worship, shared meals, and time together in nature. This retreat is a chance to deepen and form new relationships, and spend time with God in a beautiful setting.
There will be times of gathered worship, opportunities to build friendships, and plenty of space for rest or outdoor activities. Accommodation options include tenting, RV spots, and communal dorm-style lodging.
Meals will be included in the cost and prepared together so that everyone can eat together—no need to bring your own cookware or food. Cooking and clean-up will be shared among the group. There are bathrooms on site, a wash station, and access to a well, although there is no running water.
The campsite is about a 2-hour drive from Surrey. The last 25 minutes of the drive are on a rough gravel road with some larger potholes, so a higher-clearance vehicle like an SUV or truck is recommended. Carpooling may be available for those who need it.
