As part of our particularization as a local church, we are raising money toward our own Advent campaign this year. We are very excited to share with you that we have set a goal of raising a minimum of $10,000 (stretch goal of $15,000) for a wonderful ministry in our city—Cedar Pregnancy Care Center. We’ve supported them before with our baby bottle drives and with our care hampers for families in need at Christmas. This ministry offers non-judgmental support for those facing unexpected or crisis pregnancies, post-abortion counselling, and care for vulnerable families all in the name of Jesus Christ. I’m very excited to partner with Cedar Pregnancy Care Center and encourage all of you to give generously as you are able to support these vulnerable women and children.
Your generous gift this Advent season will go toward the following:
Diapers, wipes, and formula for one year
A gift of $400 sponsors a mom and her baby for a full year, covering monthly visits and essential supplies. They continue supporting each family until their youngest child turns two, and they served 63 families in 2025.
Supporting a mom at The Nest Maternity Home
If a woman moves in at the start of her third trimester, her program fee covers room and board until her baby’s first birthday — that’s 15 months of groceries and housing, with a total cost of $10,950.
Opening a new Richmond Cedar Pregnancy Care Centre
They are securing an office space this month and plan to open a new Pregnancy Care Centre in March 2026. To furnish the space — two counselling rooms, a reception area, a small staff nook, and a baby boutique — they will need approximately $5,000.
