Registration for Christ City’s Summer Youth Adventure Camp is now open.
Christ City Youth exists to create opportunities for students between Gr. 6-8 to encounter Jesus. We gather twice a week:
After songs have been sung, Jr. Youth are dismissed to their own classrom where they’ll hear a lesson on the same passage as the Main Gathering Room, just in a way youth can comprehend.
We meet for Discipleship Modules. Discipleship Modules exist to teach sound doctrine, counter harmful cultural narratives, and to create a distinct community of Jesus’ followers among Gr. 6-8 students. There are four modules each year, and each module is 4-6 weeks long.
At the end of each Discipleship Module we celebrate with a Jr. Youth Friday Night Outing. This can be anything from Go-Carting to watching a movie together.
Once a year we get out the city to for an overnight retreat. We’ll go deeper into God’s Word together, eat together, and have a ton of fun together.
Jr. Youth Adventure Camps are a fun-filled and formative week in the summer for students to connect with leaders and friends as we do various adventures throughout the Lower Mainland. These will be full day camps and most of our time will be spent offsite.
As full-fledged members of the community, we believe our Gr. 9-12 students are up to the task of participating in our regular gatherings.
Sr. Youth gathers every Tuesday night from 6:30-8:30pm in the meeting room next door to 5887 Prince Ed. for games, Bible teaching, and small group discussion.
Throughout the year we’ll get together to enjoy one another and just have a good time.
Mission (Jr. + Sr. Youth)
As the body of Jesus we recognize that we don’t exist primarily for our benefit, but for those who don’t yet know the gospel of Jesus Christ. To this end, we’ll look to partner with local and global missions organizations.
