Classifieds are courtesy postings to offer housing, employment, and service opportunities. This board aims to facilitate acts of generosity, where individuals can extend opportunities and contribute to the Christ City Church community. Advertisements are updated every Thursday and will remain active for up to a maximum of 4 weeks.

To request a posting, complete this form by Wednesday at 5:00pm for your post to be considered. It is important to note that all submissions are subject to the discernment and approval of the Director of Operations.

  • Housing and/or Shared Accommodation

    Offering Housing: We have a bright, spacious, ground-level suite available for rent either December 1 or January 1. Recently renovated, two bedrooms, one bathroom, storage, in-suite laundry, and private entrance. The suite is within walking distance to Marine Gateway Station and Winona Park.     Housing NEED: Hey Christ City, we have an urgent request for the Refugee Family. The housing that was lined up for them starting tomorrow, has fallen through tonight. We are now without a home for them to stay in when they arrive in less than 48 hours on Thursday afternoon. If you know of any rentals/housing available short term (temporary until we can find a solution) or long term for the Mohammed Family (6 Adults, 1 Nine year old boy), please let Tessa (tessa@christcitychurch.ca or 6043125826) know.

  • Service Opportunities

    ten:eighteen: The first priority of ten:eighteen is to connect personally and relationally with anyone in our neighbourhoods seeking to connect with their neighbours or receive support from them. The second priority is to provide practical support and assistance in the areas mentioned above to anyone going through a though time in our communities. There are many various capacities in which you can volunteer. Please fill out this form to get connected with the team.

    Teacher: TLA (Traditional Learning Academy) is seeking more teachers for the fall. I believe it is a part -time position. TLA offers a hybrid online and in class homeschooling program.     Director of Kids, Surrey: This position is a part-time Director of Kids role, focused on Christ City’s mission of making missional disciples for the sake of the neighbourhood. The core role of the Director of Kids is to oversee and execute all areas of Kid’s Ministry at Christ City Surrey, from overseeing volunteers, weekly lesson preparation, lead special events, organize an annual Christ City Day Camp and maintain Plan to Protect Policies.     Director of Worship: This position is a full-time Director of Worship role at Christ City South Vancouver. The Director will implement and execute the mission and vision of Christ City Church as it relates to leading the church in worship through song, liturgy, and prayer. They will raise up and empower new worship leaders, equip and train existing musicians and leaders, as well as, recruit and develop new musicians.     Childcare Workers: Come be part of our childcare worker team. We offer various events at Christ City throughout the year where we provide childcare, including regular events that require longer-term commitments and one-off events. Duties would include caring for children under 5, interacting with them, reading stories, playing with them, checking them in, managing snack time, and keeping kids safe when they are in your care.
